Buster and Bister

When I was pregnant with the twins, Emma Kate's age ranged from 4 1/2 - 5 1/2 years old. She still played with baby dolls a lot then and she asked for a set of twin baby dolls. We went to Toys R Us for her to get twin babies and she chose black babies. She said this was because maybe when our twin babies were born they might be black! We laughed about that comment but at the same time, I loved the innocence she had.

So, anyway, we got home with the twin black babies and she named them Buster and Bister. I thought I had a picture of her with them back when she first got them but I can't find it. So here is one taken last August with Buster and Bister. We had just bought this double stroller for Zane and Zander (who were 3 1/2 months old) and Emma Kate thought Buster and Bister needed to try it out first.

Fast forward 11 months.......

Buster and Bister have only been played with sporadically. I mean, Emma Kate has 2 real life twin babies to play with now.....kinda made Buster and Bister (and all the other baby dolls) obsolete!

However, yesterday Buster and Bister came out of their hiding place. I said something to Emma Kate about them and she said, "That isn't their name anymore. I changed it." I said, "oh, what are their new names?" Are you ready for this? "Chocolate" and "Chocolate Chip"
