Well Traveled Ball

Remember a few days ago when I mentioned that this ball was found in the dryer? I still don't know which 2yo boy put it in there. Or even if they put it in there at all. Perhaps it was in one of their pants pockets....(although I don't think a ball of such size would fit.)

Tonight that same ball made another apperance in an unusual spot. As I was running the boys bath water (and doing 234 other things at the same time), I heard them squealing with excitement. They were on the outside of the bathtub but with their heads leaned over the side looking down in the tub. I peered over the side too and saw this....

Mr. Ball had magically found his way into the bathtub and the boys LOVED that he was getting wet!

Again, don't know which one of them did it. But it doesn't really matter, does it? What does matter is that if you look closely at the picture above you can see 1/2 of a little white (and cute) butt cheek!

Oops!

Yesterday was one of those days where the little boys were constantly saying, "oops!" (which was my clue that there was a mess to clean up or a problem.)

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning, we have to load up bright and early to get EK to gymnastics. This usually means that I take the boys straight from their bed to the car. In the car, I usually have milk and ro-ros (toddler speak for "cereal") waiting for the boys so they can start filling their tummies in the car.

Yesterday, as I was driving, I heard them say not once, not twice, not three times, but FOUR TIMES, "Uh-oh mommy. I drop my ro-ros."

When we got home, this is what the floor of my car looked like....
But I can't really get too mad, when I look up from the mess in the floor and see this....

Then, later in the day I heard Zane say, "Uh-oh mommy. Ficks (fix) my pants."

Bless his heart. His mommy buys the same size clothes for him and Zander. And this boy just doesn't have as much "junk in his trunk" to keep his pants up.

Hiding to get the Job Done

When I see Zander "hiding" and squatted down like the picture above, I immediately know what he's doing.
I mentioned how the Elmo potty isn't getting used for any potty time. Zander would just rather hide under a chair, squat down in a corner, or if we're outside, go and get on the golf cart to "do his #2 business."

When I asked him what he was doing, he said, "I poop. I be done soon."

Dryer Ball

Today as the dryer was going, Eli said, "It sounds like there is something in the dryer that shouldn't be there." I told him he was probably just hearing these.... (the clasps from the boys overalls)
However, when the dryer went off and I opened the door, I saw this....

Here's a closer inspection...
No question in my mind the age of the child who put it in there (the 2 year olds), but I'm not sure WHICH 2 year old did it. I also don't know if the ball had already made it through the washing machine without my notice.
I called Eli into the laundry room to let him know he had been right. There WAS something in the dryer that shouldn't have been in there. He laughed and then turned the ball over to see that it had this kind of face...
