Before heading to school for their last day as 1st and 3rd graders, respectively....
Zander kept saying "Cheese" while I was taking Eli and EK's pictures, so Philip grabbed him for one of them together....
These are "Spirit Wear" shirts. Worn only on the last Thursday of the month, or in this case, the last day of school!
Zander is quite the poser when I don't need him to be!
The kids went to school for 3 1/2 hours and then we picked them up for a picnic & Field Day at the Upper Campus. Emma Kate took turns riding her little brothers in the "train."
As Eli and his friends were waiting in line to throw balls at the Dunk Tank, the firemen decided to spray their hose full-blast. The kids got soaked and absolutely loved it! Eli is 6th from the right.

Before the fun ended and we parted ways for the summer, we took one last picture and gave one last hug to our wonderful teachers!
EK will remember:
- "applying" for jobs as a classroom helper
- Mrs. Waind's funny rhyming poem about EK with her straight hair
- Mrs. Waind reading to the class
Some of Eli's favorite things from Mrs. Edwards class were:
- the science experiments
- making tin can telephones
- the chapter books he got to read
